LAST SNOW REPORT FOR JANUARY
By the last day of January, the heavy rains have been endured and hooray - Kuutsekas is open again!
The rain, along with almost tropical temperatures, did quite a bit of damage, but fortunately, the situation on three slopes is still quite manageable.
This weekend, three slopes are open: Kuutse, Tinnijaagu, and the learning slope. The snow layer isn't particularly thick, but the snow groomer has done its job, and the slopes are maintained in the morning.
In addition to the snow, the thaw has also severely affected the ski pass prices: barely half of them remain, and even less if purchased online. To clarify, all hourly and one-day tickets are half-price until conditions improve again. If the weather forecast is to be believed, this should happen at the beginning of the new week, so next weekend should already be quite wintry.
Fingers crossed and enjoy the extremely affordable mountain experiences!
